Mbappe Scores as Real Madrid Beat Valencia 3-0

LINTAS86.com, JAKARTA - Real Madrid earned an important away victory after defeating Valencia 3-0 in their latest La Liga fixture.

Federico Valverde gave Madrid the lead in the 28th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area following a partially cleared free-kick.

The visitors extended their advantage eight minutes later when Arda Guler volleyed home from close range after a deflected pass from Jude Bellingham found him inside the box.

Madrid remained in control throughout the second half and continued to create the better chances.

Their third goal arrived in the 75th minute. Arda Guler provided the assist as Kylian Mbappe rounded the goalkeeper and finished calmly to score his 13th league goal of the season.

Valencia's evening deteriorated further when captain Jose Gaya was sent off for bringing down Mbappe while the French forward was through on goal.

Earlier in the match, play was temporarily stopped for a minute's applause in memory of Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel, who died following a serious injury suffered during a Spanish second-tier match.

The victory marked Real Madrid's fourth consecutive league win and brought them level with Barcelona on points, although they remain second on goal difference.

Valencia, meanwhile, stay 19th in the table and remain one point away from escaping the relegation zone.
